Services We Offer
Dental Check-ups and Digital X-rays
Regular annual dental checkups are recommended to assess your oral as well as tooth health and diagnose potential problems early. Digital X-ray technology is used to assist with this.
Scale and polish (Cleaning)
A dental cleaning is recommended every 6 months to remove tough stains, tartar and calculus build up to prevent gingivitis and periodontal disease.
Fillings
Fillings are used to repair damage to teeth caused by tooth decay or trauma. We only use tooth coloured filling materials to repair teeth.
Root Canal treatment
When the nerve of a tooth is infected or exposed root canal treatment is done to remove the inflamed or infected nerve tissue of the tooth.
Porcelain Crowns, Veneers and Bridges
A crown is used to rebuild teeth which have broken or are weak when the damage cannot be repaired with a filling. Veneers can be placed on the front of a tooth to change their color, shape, size, or length and transform an unsightly smile. Dental bridges are used to replace a missing tooth that would otherwise cause an unsightly gap.
Extractions
When teeth cannot be repaired due to severe damage, we will sometimes need to remove them.
Dentures
Dentures usually called false teeth are removable prosthesis used to replace missing teeth that have been extracted. There are different types of dentures we make – plastic, flexible or chrome dentures.
Teeth Whitening
The degree of teeth whiteness achieved will vary from patient to patient and the type of whitening process chosen will influence the level of teeth whiteness.
Occlusal Guards (Bite Plates)
If you suffer from a headaches or jaw pain in the morning it may be due to night grinding of your teeth, and you may need a bite plate.

Dr. Rezah Allie
Principal Dentist
Dr Rezah Allie qualified as a dentist at the University of Stellenbosch in 1999, after which he registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa and the General Dental Council in the UK. He is also a member of the South African Dental Association. He spent the next 3 years working and gaining experience at various dental surgeries. He opened Dr Rezah Allie Dental in Wynberg during April of 2003. He strives to continuously expand his knowledge of dentistry and has done two Postgraduate Diplomas in Dentistry at the University of Pretoria and the University of the Western Cape respectively.
